A Teaching Tritina

The Tritina is a structured poem
In which each last word
of the first three lines are repeated.

The way they are repeated
In the ten-line poem
Should give a new twist to each word.

To have the last word
Without lines being repeated
Adds creativity to your poem.

Poem ends with first stanza's three words reused in order, theme repeated.

Teaching Haiku

Five syllables start
Seven syllables come next
Five last, re:  nature

Sparkle wants to go to the beach.  Right after making snow angels.  In the meantime, she's roller skating through the house on our carpets wearing her swimsuit.

She is wearing her helmet.

My darling husband is in a state of disbelief that I allow this.  In picking my battles, I was too tired to even start this one with her.  (My DH is more amused than anything else.)
