At Grandma's

We do something as physical as possible every day so that the wiggles can be worn out of the kiddos, and peace may reign in the house. We've walked in the woods before the snow, swam at the community pool, and went sledding.
Today, we shoveled snow off of the drive, the neighbor's drive, the walks to both houses and the sidewalks in front of both houses. Heavy, wet snow, which meant that it was also perfect weather for making snowmen!
The kids were very happy, because in Columbus, while we get snow and ice, it is rarely as deep and fun as it is here in PA. We used sticks for arms, and rolled up leaves for the eyes, and put leaves in where the snowmen's mouths were, so they'd show up better. We got soaking wet, but it was great!
