Only a Swim

Only a swim today; got back too late for a bike ride.  Still it was an hour and forty minutes worth of swim, which is something.  Sparkle got in a swim at the YMCA today, too.

Earlier, the heat index in Columbus, Ohio was well over 100 degrees, with an air quality alert, so I didn't go out in the heat of the day, either.  Still in the upper eighties at bedtime, high humidity.

Totally reasonable, do not bike during air quality alert, or tornado warnings

Awww. Your first missed day.

Well, tomorrow will be better. My sympathies about the heat index--it has been awful here (but my gut keeps insisting it's like this every summer, so maybe not) but it sounds even worse up where you are.

I try to do my exercising in the morning--as soon as I can get myself up and dressed. On the other hand, I shouldn't be giving you pointers; you've been doing *lots* better than I have.

*hugs*

I never give myself enough time in the mornings to exercise, and then do what I need to do. My hind brain insists on smacking the alarm snooze instead!

I wait until it is a bit cooler in the evening. Although this morning, it was already 85 degrees by 8:00 A.M. It was one hundred and one downtown today at 2:00 P.M. with another air quality alert. I hope it cools down this evening. I'll be swimming at the Y during Sparkle's swim lesson.
