I understand your bemusement with her usual attitude toward "normal" foods. Not related but totally related... I was walking with my ex once and I saw some deadly nightshade and said - "don't ever eat those - they are poisonous"... he grabbed a handful, started munching, noted they really were bitter and said "oh, you weren't kidding...."
The mind boggles.
I've heard you in Snow White mode and recognize how stressed you are when that happens. Hopefully all is still well and a little tummy ache might be instructive but I'd happily settle for just fine.
