3 am:  Woke from sleep having to be violently sick to my stomach, but with nothing to throw up but a bunch of thick, acidic yellow bile that burned my throat and mounth.  Frightened my daughter who'd crept in to sleep with us some time in the night.  Frightened my darling husband with my grunting and incoherence between gagging fits.

Have eaten antacids upon my DH's advice, and am sitting up for a bit because tilting as if to lie down triggers panic and a strong urge to repeat the awful experience.  No nausea if I'm upright.

Blood sugar 168 following the incident; will recheck again soon.  Being sick to one's stomach triggers the liver to convert sugars to the bloodstream for a spike, which sometimes will make things okay, sometimes will crash anyway.  Hard to type because I'm shaky.  I think that's due just because of having been sick to my stomach, rather than blood sugar.  127 just now, fifteen minutes later.  A reasonable amount.

Sparkle thoroughly awake.  This should make rest for the remainder of the night tricky for all of us.
