AAAAAH! Squirrel!

I visited my friend mzwyndi today.  On my way there and back, I noticed about six freshly dead, unsquashed squirrels in the road.  Strange.

Then, coming home, about four miles from my house, there was a sudden, fierce gust of wind, and leaves and branches and a squirrel came flying out of a tree across the road, directly toward my oncoming van!  I screamed as I slammed on the brakes. 

The squirrel, with greater presence of mind, twisted and grabbed onto my radio antennae, which bent back all the way to the windscreen with the squirrel clutching it for all its life.  My van screeches to a stop, and the antennae snaps back like a catapult, and does, in fact catapult the squirrel flying back into the leafy bushes. 

I did not see what happened to it.  I hope it is okay.
