Sep. 22nd, 2010 05:10 pm Today, as soon as I came home, Sparkle met me at the door, asking: "Mommy, can you please help me with my homework?"
She sat happily, doing her math, her spelling and her reading sweetly and perfectly. No yelling. Yay!
The only burble was when the tornado sirens started up just as she was starting to write one of her answers, and she was cross about having to go downstairs with work unfinished. Tornado training won out, and she went downstairs.
Luckily, the tornado was on the far side of the county from us, already east from where we are. So we're all safe here. Upstairs again, Sparkle finished her thought, her answers and her homework. She's asking for computer time now, so I think I'll reward positive behavior with some Nick Jr.
