Sparkle's backpack came back with her Martin Luther King Day lesson today. She had cut out the words: "Martin Luther King had a dream." These words were pasted on a sheet of newsprint. There was a coloring page also glued on, with the outlines of two children holding hands.
The coloring job: A green shirted child, with blue pants, pink skin and brown hair, holding hands with a pink shirted child, with blue pants, light green skin and black hair.
As Irish said, looking at it: "Looks like Martian Luther King Day!"
