Sparkle woke me early this morning, and got an apple, and got me to eat breakfast. As I was sipping the last of my Pomegranate V-8 Splash Tea, Sparkle appeared before me fully dressed, with her bicycle helmet on.
"It's time for our bike ride," she said in that chipper voice I recognize when I am jollying her along on reluctant mornings.
( Mommy, mommy, give me your answer, do. )
And Sparkle is so happy. Every time she passes me, she is hugging me, and kissing my shoulder, and smiling. That alone can get me back in the saddle.
