First Day of New Program

Sparkle reportedly had a good first day. Around ten, her usual meltdown time at her old school, she started up, saying "It's not fair!" and wanting to quit whatever it was that she was doing.
Recess was coming up, so they jollied her along, and she made it through just fine. Papers that came back were of the "what can she do" variety of assessments: having her color with all the colors matching, making the alphabet, etc.
Still have not heard about transportation from our school district, but I now have a backup plan requiring me to drive to a friend's near to her school, and drop her off so they can drop her off at school an hour later. This means my darling husband won't have to quit his job to get Sparkle to school. it's an unsatisfactory plan, but better than everything falling through.
Eight hours sleep, would have been more, but we had to wake her for school.
