Marcon Beware?

I am taking my banjo over to Marcon practice tomorrow with
pondside &
solomons_pond to see whether I should bring it to Marcon filk, or if I need to wait until Confluence or OVFF or even later before going "public" with my attempts.
fuzzyvanman ,
rms_butterfly , & M (whose LJ handle I forget) can put in their two cents worth, too.
Well, the theme *IS* horror...

I tuned Rosalie down two half-steps for a song that the church band wanted to sing in a lower key this morning. At Tuesday's rehearsal, she was raw, throaty, and a little wobbly. This morning the wobbly was gone. I'm wondering if I leave her like that until or through this coming weekend, the stresses and tensions will have readjusted for the worse or for the better, when I eventually tune her back up to true.
