potty woes and wows

judifilksignAt my mom's for Easter, while DH is at home with the bathroom overhaul, aka "the Pit of Despair." When I am home, I will upload the pictures, which evidently don't do justice to the horror. The floor beams needed to be replaced, the tub torn out to get to the broken, rotted things, the tub and new toilet re-plumbed. Currently, the floor is gone, the wall is gone, cedar paneling is half gone...and the Spring weather has turned to snow.
DH says needing to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night through the snow in the dark to the port-a-potty "bites." It is to be hoped not frostbites...
While terrible bathroom things are happening at home, pretty good bathroom things are happening here, as DD is getting the hang of going pee in the potty (22 times!) and is earning her fairy toys (worth 40 stickers.) It is to be hoped this new skill will transfer home after Spring Break.
