The Third Bird
Jan. 17th, 2009 12:13 amToday, doing laundry, we noticed the out vent from the dryer was detached from the wall outside. Inside, perched on the overhead water pipes, was another bird.
My darling husband, one of my kitties and I shooed it around the basement, where it battered itself against windows and hid in and amongst boxes, getting flushed about until it flew out the basement door.
I found feathers in the dryer vent. Clearly, the bird had felt the warm air from the dryer, and had popped inside, dislodging the vent and getting stuck inside.
Okay, I had the coyote three times, the snakes three times, and the birds three times. I find myself wondering what the messages were, and what my next one will be...
