Crab apple pie is tart, but yummy. I'm not sure if it's yummy enough to pick any more crab apples and cut them up for a *second* pie, but it made a nice dessert.
Use the rest to make jelly. Crab apples have a lot of pectin, so you can use them to make jelly on their own, or add them to other fruits instead of buying packaged pectin.
