Mowing in November

Hair, that is. 

Being short of funds, I took it upon myself to cut elder son and younger son's hair, in one of two styles I know - GI Joe.  (The other is Charles Xavier, AKA Kojack.)

The younger yelled a lot as it pulled, but remained perfectly still.  The elder was stoically silent, but wiggled.  Younger son's went better.

They both look very handsome and boy scout-y, which is good, as they are in fact boy scouts.

When my father found himself with 5 boys he decided it would be a wise investment to buy hair clippers. He knew excactly one haircut, "butch". I well remember the clippers pulling my hair (Oouuch!) but we managed to survive.

It took a long time for me to get used to going to a regular barber shop as an adult and getting "normal" hair cuts.

I have the shears. I do Douglas, John sometimes and the pets always... not necessarily in that order lol
